FUTURE

What does the future hold?

No one knows, 

But the one that holds the future,

The scriptures paint a great picture of how it will be,

Every one against every one else,

Turning their swords on each other, brother killing brother;

Mothers against daughters, 

Lovers of self, heady, high minded,

Nation against Nation,

Are we going to continue being distracted with our modern day conveniences?

On the news they were showing people who were distracted, with there phones, and I pads, running into poles, falling of the sidewalk, the they had a so called expert, on to tell us we were not paying attention,

REALLY; we really need some one to tell us that,

And the truth is with all the technology we have today, people are getting stupid; more and more every day, no compassion, no regard, no kindness, no meekness, 

All one sees any more of people are the tops of their head and thumbs working,

But you know just like the lady in the story,and including myself, We did not have all the technology;

That we have today, but some how we lived with out it, 

And the thing is in her time, things were harder, then in my time, as far as living, they farmed, worked the land, helped their neighbor,

But really those were better days, as far as neighbors,

No one knows their neighbor, no one loves their neighbor, because we are to distracted to notice,

Is it a good thing??
